Field Research Methods Short Course
Deakin University's School of Health and Social Development has developed two workshops that embrace a hands-on approach to field research methods. The two-day workshops provide academic knowledge combined with practical learning. They enhance practitioner competency in conducting quantitative, qualitative or mixed-method research in the field.
This short course has been developed for anyone with an interest in applied research in the health, welfare and social development sectors.
It is relevant to those wishing to conduct or supervise research projects in their workplace and for individuals interested in refreshing or extending their research knowledge and skills.
It will provide a comprehensive overview of applied qualitative and quantitative research theory and practice and an opportunity for participants to undertake a hands-on research project during the 5-day program (14th-16th February and 22nd -23rd February 2018).
