Our Priorities

The Health & Wellbeing Pillar has developed a number of priorities and projects that contribute to the implementation of the The HWB Pillar's Strategic Plan for 2017-2018

The Victorian Health and Wellbeing Plan sets out to provide key priorities and a vision to improve the health and wellbeing of Victorians.

Violence against women and children is serious, prevalent and preventable as indicated by the evidence. To successfully address the issue, an understanding of Gender Equity and the role that gender plays in preventing violence is essential.

Supporting social and community connectedness that celebrates diversity is a key priority in the G21 region.  Social connectedness and community inclusion improves physical health and mental and emotional well-being.

Capacity building (also known as community and workforce development), taps into existing abilities of individuals, communities, organisations or systems to increase involvement, decision-making and ownership of issues.

One of our key priorities in the new HWB Strategic Plan is to measure our progress.  Within the collective impact framework, one of the 5 conditions for collective impact is to develop a shared measurement system.
