Municipal Public Health & Wellbeing Plans 2017-21

Within the G21 Region, each of the local councils have their own Council Plans and Municipal Public Health & Wellbeing Plans.

The Council Plan 2017-2021 and Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plans are the key documents setting out the strategic direction for individual councils in the G21 region for the next four years and beyond.

The Victorian Local Government Act 1989 requires that a Council Plan must be prepared every four years.

For the first time, a number of Council Plans within the G21 Region have integrated their Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plans.

These plans outline the priorities for supporting, protecting and improving the health and wellbeing of communities.
