Regional Food Data Report 2016

The Regional Food System Alliance (RFSA) formed in 2010 (formerly as the G21 Food Security Network) and represents the five Local Government Areas (LGA) of the G21 Region (City of Greater Geelong, Colac Otway Shire, Golden Plains Shire, Surf Coast Shire and the Borough of Queenscliffe).

One role of the RFSA is to collect and access evidence based food data that is comparable across the LGAs.

A subgroup of members produced this current report and inofgraphics to inform Municipal Public Health Planning and Integrated Health Promotion Planning.

An audit tool was designed and measures some determinants of food security, food consumption and elements of the food system. The content was limited to the capacity of those collecting the data.
