Geelong Women in Community Life Awards 2020
They showcase local achievements that contribute to a thriving community and help women and girls realise their dreams and ideas.
The awards are an initiative of the City of greater Geelong’s Women in Community Life Advisory Committee and are supported by the following organisations.
Award categories
The Overall winner – Women in Community Life Award will be awarded by the selection panel. Proudly supported by Women’s Health and Wellbeing Barwon South West.
Nominations can be made in the following categories:
- First Nations Woman in Community Life Award - Proudly supported by Christine Couzens MP, Member for Geelong
- Women in Community Life Award Human Rights and Gender Equality Award - Proudly supported by The Sexual Assault and Family Violence Centre
- Women in Community Life Award Living with a Disability Award - Proudly supported by Barwon Health
- Women in Community Life Award Leading Gender Equality in Sport Award - Proudly supported by the Leisure Networks
- Women in Community Life Leadership in Women’s Health Award - Proudly supported by Jean Hailes for Women’s Health
The winner of each category will be announced at the International Women’s Day event to be held on Friday 6 March 2020. Further details on the event will be available in early 2020.
